A rapper simulator that plays like a career

Text-based · one week per turn · 96 rivals

Hitladder is a rapper simulator for iPhone with no rap battles and no rhythm taps. You run a career: write, record, release, play shows, sign or stay independent, and climb a Top 100 that 96 fictional artists are fighting for every week. Free, no forced ads, no subscription.

What "rapper simulator" means here

Most rapper games are about freestyle battles or tapping bars on a beat. Hitladder is about everything around the bars: the weekly grind of writing, recording, releasing and promoting, the money, the deals and the charts. You never type a lyric. You make decisions, and the simulation runs the week.

Start in a bedroom

You're 18 with $1,000, a part-time job and a notebook of ideas. Pick rapper or singer. Rappers work in hip-hop, trap or drill; singers get pop, R&B, country or Latin, seven genres in all. Your first demo is cut in your bedroom. A budget studio, a pro studio and a top studio open up as the money comes in.

One week at a time

Every turn is a week. Every action costs energy, and energy comes back a little each week, so a career is a series of choices about what matters now: write, record, release, promote, play a show, practice a skill, or rest. Push too hard and you burn out.

The chart is the scoreboard

There's a Top 100 and a Top 25 for every genre. 96 fictional rivals release, rise and fall every week, and to chart, your weekly streams have to beat theirs. Trends shift between genres, songs lose steam as they age, and one release with the right hook can catch a wave.

Deals with the math on the table

Majors bring radio and big playlists. Indie labels keep more of your money. Going it alone keeps all of it. Every offer shows the advance, the royalty rate, what you'd have to recoup and how many releases it covers, before you sign. Every contract ends, and you can walk away and go independent.

Shows, tours, trouble

Stages run from open mics and bars to clubs, theaters, arenas and stadiums. You can open for a bigger act or headline your own tour. Along the way, 91 events test you: hecklers, sponsored posts, lawsuits, label drama. Every choice has a cost, and your reputation remembers.

Honest money

Free to play. Hitladder Pro is a one-time $6.99 purchase: a sandbox start, up to five careers at once, poster colors and career stats. Cash packs are optional and they can't buy fans. Ads bring listeners, not followers, and the charts only count organic listeners.
